Adult Education

Many of our members did not have formal religious training in their youth. Each year we offer classes in Hebrew literacy and learning how to read from the Torah and Haftorah. Other courses are offered as well. Some of our members culminate their education with an adult Bar or Bat Mitzvah.

Learning is an option open to all congregants regardless of ability. Instruction is available for those with limited or no skills to those that want a refresher. Classes are offered at different times during the year and are available both at Beth El as well as the greater Jewish community.
