Funerals/Chevre Kaddisha

The Beth El community is here to support each other in times of sorrow as in times of joy.  We provide a full range of services to support our members and others in the Jewish community in times of loss, including: helping pre-arrange a Jewish burial in the New London area (whether at the Beth El cemetery or elsewhere); organizing a chevre kaddisha to prepare the remains; coordinating with local funeral homes and carrying out the funeral ceremony and burial; organizing meals of consolation and shiva minyanim.  We can also help you to mark a loved one's yahrzeit (death anniversary) or to create a memorial plaque to remember your relative in perpetuity.
