Beth El Community Cemetery
The Beth El Community Cemetery of Eastern Connecticut was established in 1938 and is an integral part of Jewish life and death in our community. The Cemetery is a non-profit organization run by an administrative Board. Located on Lestertown Road, a bucolic street in Groton, CT, it is a Jewish inclusive cemetery accommodating the current needs of our community.
Plots are available for Jewish, interfaith, cremains, and families and no synagogue affiliation is required. Accommodations can be made if a member of the family is not Jewish and chooses to be buried at the Cemetery. Plots are currently available for purchase.
For further information or questions, please contact our Cemetery Administrator, Merrill Mazzella at mazzellaa@sbglobal.net or call (860) 383-5605.
