The Jews of the villages, that dwelt in the unwalled towns, made the 14th day of the month of Adar a day of gladness and feasting, a holiday, and of sending portions to one another ..." (Chap 9, Megillat Esther)

The custom of sending Purim gift bags to friends and family members is as old as the holiday itself.  What can be nicer than getting a little package containing sweet dainties and an uplifting holiday message?

To facilitate our members' participation in the mitzvah of mishloach manot (Purim gifts), Congregation Beth El will again this year be preparing packages of sweets for distribution at our community Purim celebration on Monday, March 9 at 6:00 p.m. at Temple Emanu-El.

Take part in the gift exchange by making your tax-deductible contribution to the Mishloach Manot fund.  It's as easy as clicking here!

(Donations can also be made by sending your check to the Beth El Office).
